Rohtang Pass
At
an altitude of 3,978 metres on the freeway to Keylong, the large

Manu Rishi Temple
The Temple of
Manu Rishi is placed about
3 km from the Main Bazar in Old Manali. Its believed that the only
temple of Manu Rishi in India, and Manu Rishi had been the creator of
human race on the earth.
Naggar
Situated on the left bank of lake Beas, Naggar was the
funds of Kullu for around 400 years. Nestling on a wooded slope, it
orders a wonderful and extensive view of the valley. The paintings of
overdue Nicholas Roerich must be seen at the Roerich museum in a white
washed villa set in a jewel like garden. Naggar Castle built in the 16th
century is a big constructing and is a great holiday attraction. Naggar

temple, Vishnu temple and Krishna temple.
Hadimba Devi Temple
The Dhungri or Hadimba Devi Temple is located
1.5 km from main Manali, wooden building, in the center of wonderful
forested parkland, known like the Dhungri Van Vihar. Built in 1553, it
has a 4-tier pagoda-shaped roof, with an intricately created doorway and
sculptures depicting Indian mythology. Every May, you can find a major
festival at the temple in honor of goddess Hadimba, to who the temple is
dedicated. The surrounding woods are really scenic, and you will find,
lots of locals, ready to let you shoot them in their local clothing. You
can also hop on a yak and get your photograph taken.
Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple
Vashist a small town located
on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali towards Rohtang pass is worth a
visit. Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple is famous for it's Hot
Water Springs and Temples. Nearby is the Pyramidal Stone Temple
dedicated to Vashist Muni. There is a different Temple of Lord Ram too.
Natural Hot Sulphur Water Springs with two different bathing tanks for
Gents and Ladies, which are always full of tourists. Turkish Style
Showers fitted baths also have been made nearby. Hot water from the
nearby Spring is offered for bathing.
Tibetan Monasteries

Solang Valley

mountains. short of the 13,050 feet high Rohatang Pass on the Manali-Leh

flowers. The place remains a stopover for transit visitors and tourists
in summer and autumn seasons and a transit spot for the people to wait
for the ferocious weather to increase at Rohtang Pass to cross over to
Lahaul and Spiti valley, during the winter months.
Nehru Kund
A natural spring of clean cold water named after the
late Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, who used to drink water from this
spring during his stay in Manali. It is based on the Manali-Keylong
road. This spring is considered to be coming from 'Bhrigu Lake'.
